Josh is originally from Chicago area and went to school at Northwestern University for Religious Studies, Psychology, and Human Development. He now lives in the Bay Area with his beautiful tree-loving wife Debra Larson. He loves learning, writing, coffee and philosophy (both at once is preferable), playing board games, Buddhism, and spending time outdoors (and Cali is definitely the place to be if you love the outdoors!). Josh tends to appreciate tradition and faith from a practical and logical perspective (being a religious studies major tends to do that to you…) but he also values the ineffable and emotional aspects of religious practice – especially as experienced through meditation, yoga, and watching a good sunset on the ocean. Josh is excited to share some of the things he’s learned on his journey through the matching and blessing and is looking forward to your feedback.
Everyday we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child – our own two eyes. All is a miracle.
